Our own reliability depends on that of our suppliers. Naturally, we choose our suppliers according to a careful purchasing strategy, and they must comply with our standards and environmental regulations. But ultimately, it’s a give-and-take process. And that’s precisely why we regard our relations with suppliers as partnerships which we develop and expand.

Finding good sources

We are a tightly organised three-strong team, which means we can group together as much of our purchasing volume as possible. Despite this, we’re always looking for new sources. The daily balancing act between finding the lowest price, the best quality and the fastest delivery is easier if you have a solid basis of good sources. It’s often not a question of the price or delivery time, but of where and how our requirements can be met at all. And we want to keep our reputation of always being able to get everything in good time.

More than just negotiating prices

Whatever is needed at our company, we know where to get it. However, not many people know that negotiating prices and placing orders is just a part of our work. Each time we negotiate a price, we first need to exactly define what is needed, and technically check the offer to see if it is suitable for our production. This means purchasing technical products and raw materials requires a great deal of technical expertise. We always put quality before the price, in order to meet our own high expectations and those of our customers.
