Dr. Martin Wienströer is the chairman of the executive board of Welland & Tuxhorn AG.

After finishing his practical training, Dr. Martin Wienströer studied mechanical engineering at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences.

Subsequently he studied Mathematical Science with a focus on Computer Aided Engineering at De-Montfort University Leicester/UK.

After successfully completing his doctorate at the Institute for Metal Forming and Metal Forming Machines at the University of Hanover, he began his professional career in 2003 in the private sector at a large automotive supplier.

In addition to various management tasks, Dr. Wienströer spent 3 years in Japan as Technical Director for the Asia-Pacific Division. Most recently, he was responsible for the "Plant Engineering" Division within the Group.

Born in East Westphalia, he is married and has 2 children.
